The task

OELCHECK, a laboratory for lubricant and oil analysis in Europe, needed a responsive website in several languages and with various service functions. The company is known for its customer and service orientation in the industry. These attributes were to be seen on the new website.

The challenge

Relaunch of an outdated website.

On a modernized OELCHECK website, the user experience was to be improved by additional functions, and the design was to be adapted for all screen formats (smartphone, tablet), i.e., become responsive and clearer. In addition, the focus was on a revised target group approach and increased website visibility. A corporate design with corresponding guidelines was already in place, but the look still needed to be overhauled and modernized.

The solution

WPWA Digital developed a new website and optimized the visibility in search engines.

Based on a thorough analysis, WPWA Digital developed a website concept that was modern and appropriate for the target group. The old website structure was changed and focused on user experience.

To make the website easier to find for interested customers, a blog was developed. The selection of topics for this came from an already existing print magazine. After digitalization, this could be presented to a larger audience in the OEL wiki.
