Implementation of HubSpot for Marketing and Sales
Robotnik was to be equipped as an independent business unit with a completely new marketing and sales infrastructure. The goal was to set up and fully operationalize Robotnik’s marketing functions within HubSpot in 90 days. A key focus was the migration from an on-premises Odoo version and the integration of the ROS Components website and online shop. Additionally, Robotnik's activities were to be incorporated into the group-wide reporting of the United Robotics Group.
Migrating data from the existing on-premises Odoo system was particularly demanding. The task required transferring the extensive data accurately and in a well-structured manner to the new system. Another challenge was seamlessly integrating the website and the ROS Components online shop into the new infrastructure, ensuring centralized management of all marketing and sales activities. Integration into the United Robotics Group's existing group-wide reporting system was also critical to establish a consistent data foundation across the organization.
The process began with foundational training to familiarize the Robotnik team with HubSpot's functionalities. This was followed by a step-by-step implementation and integration of the new infrastructure.
- Data Migration and Structuring: The data from the previous on-premises Odoo environment was fully migrated, cleaned, and structured to ensure immediate usability in HubSpot.
- Integration of Website and Online Shop: The ROS Components website and online shop were integrated into HubSpot. Forms, tracking mechanisms, and automations were set up to efficiently support marketing and sales processes.
- Group-Wide Reporting: Robotnik's marketing and sales data were integrated to ensure transparency and consistency in the United Robotics Group’s group-wide reporting. This allowed for clear overviews and analyses across all business units.
